The Reverend H. Ray Stewart founded Pacific Coast Bible College in 1976 and served as it’s president until 1989. The college opened in Sacramento, California as the West Coast training institution for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC). Soon after the turn of the century, the school became known as Advantage College.
H. Ray was a dedicated and passionate servant who provided visionary leadership for the college. He set PCBC on a clearly defined track for educating students in Bible, theology, doctrine and Christian service. His legacy lives on as Advantage College cotinues to equip pastors, ministers, missionaries and local church leaders and members at 11 satellite locations across the United States, multiple sites overseas, as well as directed studies online.
One cannot surface the name, H. Ray Stewart, without also mentioning his faithful wife and ministry partner, Della. Together, they. served the Lord valiantly and were a blessing to IPHC training institutions. Therefore, this scholarship bears both of their names:
